He completed his MBBS from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences. He completed MS in General Surgery from Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER). He then earned Diplomate of National Board (General Surgery) from New Delhi. After that, he joined PGIMER in Chandigarh and did his fellowship in Vascular Surgery at St Mary’s Hospital in London, UK.
